We are open year-round and provide seasonal discounts during the winter months.
In consideration of others, smoking is allowed only in limited areas.
Children 12 and over are welcome at our luxury Bed and Breakfast Inn in North Carolina.
A deposit amount equal to 50% of the charge of your stay is required to secure a reservation.
We accept cash, personal check (only if received at least two weeks prior to arrival date), travelers checks, debit cards and the following credit cards: VISA, MasterCard and Discover.
A two or three night minimum stay may apply on weekends, holidays, special festival dates and the entire month of October (including weekdays).
Deposits will be refunded with notice of cancellation at least 8 days prior to the date of arrival (not time of arrival), minus a $30 processing fee per room cancelled. Cancellations made with 7 days or less notice from the date of arrival (not time of arrival) will be charged 50% of the entire stay. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours of date of arrival (not time of arrival), no shows and early departures will be charged the full amount of the reservation. Any changes to reservations resulting in a reduction of room nights, or changes in arrival dates will also be charged accordingly, based on the above stated fees.
Cancellations in the month of October require at least 15 days notice prior to the date of arrival for full deposit refund, minus a $30 processing fee per room cancelled. Also in October, cancellations made with 14 days or less notice from the date of arrival will be charged 50% of the entire stay, and cancellations in October made with less than 7 days notice will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
If cancellation is due to inclement weather conditions, the above cancellation policies will be applied. However, a gift certificate will be issued for the full amount of the fee charged and will be valid for 1 year from date of issue.
We all love our furry members of the family, we love ours and yours, too. But we do not allow the at the Inn. Perhaps you can find a pet-sitter or kennel, or grand pet parents to care for them in your absence while you are enjoying some time together here at Brookside Mountain Mist Inn Bed and Breakfast.

By providing your email address for communication with our Inn, guests agree to allow Brookside Mountain Mist Inn to send additional emails with special announcements, updates and promotions on no more than a monthly basis. Brookside Mountain Mist Inn agrees never to sell, lease or otherwise exchange email addresses with any third party and shall make every effort to protect guest email addresses in our secure property management system at all times.

Standard Check In at B&B: 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm (Later check-ins accommodated with advanced notice. No check-ins later than 10pm can be accommodated, due to our small size.)

Due to potential fire hazard, no candles or incense can be burned on this property or in the Guest Suites. Smoking is allowed at designated areas, but NOT in the house including the Guest Suites.
